P1010332

Tomorrow, the 17th, is my sister's Birthday. =) So I am posting a card tonight in her honor. With the time difference between Sweden and the US it makes it the same day right about now.

Sorry about the picture quality. The light is a bit off so just to let you know, the Pumpkin Pie Orange and Barely Banana yellow look really nice together. I am still trying to learn to take better pictures. Perhaps a class is in order….I am seriously considering it. With my sweet son, there are more photo opportunities around here, so I would like to learn a bit more about this. We'll see.

Anyways, I made this card recently. Though it isn't for you, Anna, it still says Happy Birthday!!

Hope your day is fun and special. See you Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pink and Brown…

CherishW
…you can't go wrong with those colors if you ask me. =)
This is another oldie (I do have new cards, I just haven't re-sized them and made them ready for the web yet). I made this quite a while back and I just don't seem to be able to part with it.

This one got me thinking that perhaps I don't always have to make cards that say "happy birthday" or "thinking of  you" or any of those normal sentiments. Perhaps it's ok to use a sentiment that is simply cute. =) Right?

I stamp because it is fun, not because I have to make something useful. If that was the case I probably would not enjoy it very much. Oh well, enough blather. Just wanted to post another post today before I head to bed. I hope to get back again soon.

Thanks for stopping by,

Sara

Finally

Ok…here's a post…finally. I thought I would wait till December 4th and make it an entire month without posts…but my sister told me to get on the ball now!! =) And the truth is, I do want to continue with my blog but sometimes life just gets busy and all of a sudden an entire month goes by! Thanksgiving has come and gone and now its only 4 weeks till Christmas. How 'bout that. Incredible.

Here's a little something I made a while back and never posted. Anna, I know you've seen it and even have one of these cards, but it's almost Christmas so I thought it would be nice to put that up today.

The light wasn't very good when I took this photo but you get the idea. It has a fun little detail that my friend Wendy taught me a few years ago. I punched out two circles to create a little window for my Mary and Jesus image. Then I adhered a piece of packing tape, sticky side facing up and poured glitter on top. Tap of the excess and you are left with a shiny, glittery little window of sorts. The stamped image was then adhered behind it. I think the second picture will give you a better idea.

Nice huh. =)

You should all try this out sometime.

Have a lovely week,

Sara
